Jan/ Feb 2008 Crochet Today!

I received my copy of Crochet Today! in the mail yesterday, and I was happy (as always) to see what a nice job they did with my Snowflake Scarf. The photography is lovely, as well as, they included almost all of my crochet diagrams. I really can not ask for more then that, now can i?

This scarf I designed to be a scarf and a wrap. Something you can scrunch up and wear around your neck when its really chilly or something to hang around your shoulders when its only cool out.

The crochet granny motif was really difficult to decide on. I had a ton of ideas and it took me quite a while to decide on this one. I totally blame it on the yarn. Its a really nice blend of bamboo and wool, and I think I just loved playing with it so much. Its a quick project. I think it took me a week to do, so you definitely will be able to crochet it this winter and be able to wear it this winter.

Hope you enjoy it!

yarnsnob- I'm not sure where you can get the magazine in the UK. Maybe their website (www.crochettoday.com) has some insight. Good luck! I'm glad you guys liked the scarf.

The bangle bracelet I made was with Bamboo Wool. I like it - I'll have to actually make something to wear with it to see how it feels against my skin.
