Flowering Scarf

Looking for a last minute project for the holidays? This quick project is perfect to brighten those gray winter days. Wear it as a scarf, or wrap it around your wreath for some cheer, cozy it around a poinsettia for a unique centerpiece, or make one from thread for a necklace. Flowering Scarf

Yarn:
Sheep Shop Number 1 (CYCA #4), 100% Pure Wool, 130 yds/ 100g:
MC: G130 1.5 hanks
CC1: A106 50 yards
CC2: A020 50 yards

Hooks:
I/9 (5.5mm) hook or hook needed to obtain gauge

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Wool wash and blocking pins.

Stitches Used:
CH Chain
SL ST Slip Stitch
SC Single Crochet
HDC Half Double Crochet
DC Double Crochet
t-ch turning chain

Finished sizes:
Scarf is 4” by 76”

Gauge:
Star Flower Motif =4 3/4” dia (from point to point)
Center Daisy = 3” dia

Notes:
Change colors of center daisy in following sequence: CC2, CC1, CC1.
