Fancy Baby Bib

Looking for a quick gift for new parents? Try this baby bib. It’s a great tunisian crochet project that can be done in one night. It also can double as a washcloth, how handy is that?

Yarn:
Online Linie Clip 12 (CYCA #4) 100% Mako Egypt Cotton, 182yds/ 100g: #151 Med Blue, 90 yards (1/2 hank)

Hooks:
J/10 (6.0mm) afghan hook and G/6 (4.0mm) hook or hooks needed to obtain gauge

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
(1) 7/8” diameter button

Stitches Used:
CH Chain
SL ST Slip Stitch
SC Single Crochet
YO Yarn Over
TSS Tunisian Simple Stitch
TSS-DEC Tunisian Simple Stitch Decrease

Finished size:
6”x7” (approx), Baby bib to fit newborn to 6mths.

Gauge:
19 sts by 16 rows =4”x4”, in pat stitch using J/10 (6.0mm) hook
