Show Me Your Stitches!

I have 2 projects for you guys today.  I hunted these down on Ravelry, and they were too fantastic not to share with you all.  Seriously, aren't they fantastic?

Leslie crocheted the Wrapped Tunic from Vogue Crochet as her summer bathing suit cover.  She used Madeline Tosh Sock, which gives great wear-ability!  She devised her own was of joining the motifs to highlight the hexagon shape (brilliant!)

Her is what she has to say in her own words:

I've enjoyed wearing it as a bathing suit cover and over dresses. My fav combo is the tunic over a little green sheath dress I already owned. The yarn shop girls love it dressed up with a little black dress under it! Doris Chan complimented it at the CGOA conference in June--and she knew your design immediately!
I also won the Crochet section prize over in the Madeline Tosh Rav group (during ‘Mad May’) with it. Scoring more Tosh yarn made me REALLY happy!

Awesome right?  You can see more of her notes and pictures over on Ravelry.

Cecilia crocheted my Linked Jacket from Simply Crochet.  She used the exact yarn and color called for in the pattern (Naturally Caron Country).  When I first saw her picture, I thought somehow she has gotten the sample and took a picture wearing it.  It is just that great!

You can read her progress over at Ravelry.  It took her about a month to crochet.  What I love from her updates is her perseverance through the project.  She was not going to let it get to her, and I love that!  I really think the hard work has paid off!

If you have a project of mine that you crocheted, I would love to feature it here on the blog!  Just send me a note with a picture, project, your name, yarn used, and any notes you want to share.  Thanks!
