Awesome

That was my past weekend in d'burgh (as my hubbie pronounces it), or Pittsburgh (for the rest of us).

Just Awesome!

The classes went beautifully. I got to cruise Anthropologie and have a great dinner with Annie (the headliner of the weekend). And hang out with my family!

Some of the highlights:
1. Getting hugs! I was a huggie monster and I didn't care. What a sweeter way to thank a teacher then hug them? I love you guys, you are so friendly.

2. A few ladies from my lecture came up to me and said, "You know I think I can do this [sending in proposals and being a designer]." That's music to my ears! It’s really not that hard. All you need is a bit of professionalism and confidence in your work.

3. Seeing that light go on when my kooky ways of teaching do start to creep in. Ahh! I live for that moment. It was so amazing to see that in so many faces on Sunday (which then lead to #1).

4. Scoring some great loot! I have been knitting baby socks since TNNA as my break during writing and crocheting. I find switching crafts back and forth has really helped my hands. Its like aerobics for them.

5. Meeting ravelry friends!

6. Seeing old friends! Hi 3 Rivers Crochet! Hi Andi!

It was so great, and I am kicking myself for not taking more pictures.

I've been teaching more at Yarntopia and know exactly what you mean about that light bulb moment. It is the best to teach enthusiastic folks who are having fun. Congrats on a great weekend!

The class was wonderful! I learned so much and had lots of fun.
I can't wait for next year and another class.
I've also put the book on my birthday request list.
