Nama Rococo Wallpaper

Since I was a professional painter for so many years, I have a strong dislike of wallpaper. Not for any other reason then its a pain in the butt to take off.

But this collection from Nama Rococo may change my mind.

Plus, don't you think that would make and awesome top? Esp if the design wrapped the side of the garment? I can see the shapes made from granny motifs or slip stitched on top of the fabric. I'll have to go stew...

Got any tips for how to get off wallpaper that's been painted on? The people who took over the estate of the house I bought painted almost all of the wallpaper. It looks HORRID. Trying to get it off is like pulling teeth.

I like that wallpaper too. I could re-consider wallpaper after seeing some of those designs.

I got no tips. Basically you need to score the paper so you can either dose it in solution or a steamer. Then strape your heart out. Newer paper (and glue) is easier to come off. Older glue can take days to scrape off. I have been putting off my bathroom for this very reason, too!

Thanks! I figured I'd need a steamer so I asked for a good one for Christmas. I had a feeling as though I'd be scraping my heart out. These people covered to whole house with wallpaper and half is painted over. Ugh. It looks terribly tacky.
