Show Me Your Stitches!

I have a treat for you today.  Julie sent me a message on Ravelry a few months ago with a few designs of mine she crocheted, then got back in touch with me with even more.  The first note made my day the next and next were just icing.  Take a look and feel free to give her a great big applause on her facebook page too.  Check out all the Ravelry links for yarn she used, hook size, and more.

Paige Sweetheart from Blueprint Crochet , Interweave 2008
She used Cool Cotton and look at the results.  Even if you don't use the bamboo in the pattern, if you stay in the plant family for the fiber the results are still fantastic!  Don't you agree?

Comfy Cardi from Crochet Me , Interweave 2007
Note from Julie:
I made this using Patons Grace (Blush) - I love it. It’s soft and warm. When I made it, I was such a newb but your instructions made it easy. I also dropped an entire glass of red wine on a sleeve as I was weaving ends in. Tons of salt and hoping it wouldn’t eat through the yarn, and no one can tell. YAY!
-hee hee, I do stuff like that all the time!  Ever wonder why I put a flower on a collar sort of offset... now you know!

Note from Julie on one of my crochet socks patterns:

I made these socks using baby yarn (Bernat Softee Baby, I believe) and show them off at the LYS where I give crochet classes. People absolutely LOVE them. As do I. Second sock syndrome? Not with these =)

Thank you so much Julie for sharing these with me!  Keep an eye out in your Ravelry mail for a little thank you for sharing these with us!  If you have projects of mine that you want to share, PLEASE email, tweet, facebook me.  I would love to see them and share!

Thank you so much for the gift and blog post. At the risk of repeating myself, I'm psyched by this post on one of my favorite designer's website.

=)=)=) eeeek!
