Let's Crochet A Garden Together June 7th!
Come crochet with me! Taking inspiration from Staghorn Cafe's lovely plants and decor, we will crochet the afternoon away making our own beautiful garden while enjoying all of the cafe's treats. I hope you can join me!
CRAFTERNOON: Crochet Flowers
Looking to add a bit of spring to your
projects, then come join local crochet designer, Robyn Chachula (that's me!), in making some
fresh crochet flowers. In this advanced beginner class, you will learn 5
different crochet flowers. Each flower starts in the center and works its
way out; but that's where the similarities end. Each flower walks you
through a different technique to make great flowers. We talk about front/
back/ and middle loops; we play with short rows, and how to make easy color
changes. Along the way, we talk about the many ways you can use flowers;
in jewelry, as hair pins, as embellishments, in sweaters, and even in blankets.
By the end of class you should be on your way to crocheting an entire
garden of colorful vibrant blossoms.
Date: June 7th , 4-6 pm
Location: Staghorn Home and Garden Café, Greenfield Ave,
Pittsburgh
Supplies: Bring 4-5 balls of different colored yarn
and matching hook; or buy kit from Robyn for 15$ at class.
Homework: Practice crocheting single crochet, double
crochet, chain, and slip stitches before class.
