Green Machine Truck


Sometimes the simplest objects make the most fun gifts for kids.  Made from combining simple cube shapes and a bit of embellishing, this fun truck can be fun to learn shapes and colors and spark their imagination.

Materials         


Yarn:
Red Heart Soft Yarn (CYCA #4), 100% Acrylic, 256 yds/ 5oz:
MC: Grass Green     1 skein
CC1: Guacamole  160 yds
CC2: Deep Sea        80 yds
CC3: Medium Blue   80 yds

Hooks: 
J/10 (6mm) hook or hook needed to obtain gauge

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Polyfil Stuffing
Stitch Markers
(optional) 12”x24” cardboard, cut to (6) 4.25”x 4.25”, (2) 3.5”x3.5”, (4) 3.5”x8.25” pieces

Stitches Used:
CH       Chain
SL ST     Slip Stitch
SC        Single Crochet
ST         Stitch
SK       Skip
PM       Place Marker
BLO      Backloop Only

Finished sizes:
Truck is 4.25” by 4.25” by 12.5” long

Gauge:
   17 sc by 17 rnds = 4”x4”

Notes:
Truck is worked in joined rounds.
