A bit of Tax Day good news...

I want to congratulate Sam from Not Your Gram's Afghan.  She is the winner of my Jordana Paige Tool Butler Clutch.

I thought someone should get a bit of good news this morning.  Our giant checks to the IRS are in the mail, and I am hoping that ends the horrible financial year we had last year.   Enough about that, because I am bound and determined to promptly forget all that awfulness and focus on this year.

As a lot of you know, I am on a work-cation for the next 2 days.  I really need a mom-vacation for about 2 weeks, but only could work out it out for 2 days.  So I am going to make the most of it, and hoping to make a little dent in my work list.  My work list is actually starting to narrow which is amazing.  I have a crazy schedule (read very little sleep) for the next 3-4 weeks; then things really open up.  I am hoping to work like a fiend then start taking on work that doesn't cause so many sleepless nights in a row like 2010 did.  Ok enough, on to editing my pretty pink project from the new book.  Hope you all have a great couple of days!
