This sweater is really pretty. And actually, I have been contemplating making myself a copy to wear now. It’s very fall friendly, esp. with our weather lately. The yarn is Lorna's Laces Swirl. A beautiful blend of silk and wool, that gives a subtle tweedy look. I just love how it looks on the ribbing. Since its a lacy design, it’s certainly not a winter sweater; but perfect for spring and fall when you just need something light to wear. My super talented cousin, Rebecca, helped me crochet this one. She even had to deal with me again. This time I put the neck opening basically at the bust- so the front was twice as short as the back. Man, some days I just crack myself up at the silly things I muff up. But no worries, we got it all sorted - and the sweater looks just lovely on Susie Q.

I only have a few more sections left to write, which is nice and kind of sad all at once. I have adored every part of the designing and writing of this book.

WOW!

It looks GORGEOUS. I've already made an appointment with my LYS for a crochet lesson. I need to move beyond my "free form" (aka: don't really know how to crochet) baby blankets and actually crochet a garment!
