Sorry for the funny picture, but I was in a huge rush against the setting sun last night. See, I just had to show off this new sneak peek from the book. This cute project came out exactly like I envisioned, and just makes me squeal with joy. The yarn is Lorna's Laces Lion and Lamb, which is a really beautiful wool/ silk blend. You can see in the picture how much it makes the stitches pop. The buttons were a find on one of my favorite button websites. They are just amazingly perfect for the top, I am just so delighted. Rebecca was a stellar crocheter and did above and beyond the call of duty with her fantastic job on the top. I cannot thank her enough for all her great work.

I'm literally running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I got a bit sick this past weekend, so I'm running two days behind. Luckily I budgeted extra time, so I should be ok to hand off these last projects to my nice FedEx man by Friday afternoon. But I still will need all your good thoughts these next two days. See you when the box is all packed!
