Rose Lace Sneak Preview

Last night I finished this top.



Its for Amy Swenson's new book, Sensual Crochet. You can see a lot of the projects at her blog and flickr account. From the looks of it, its looks like its going to be a great book!



I'm calling this Rose Lace Wrap.



Its made from granny squares joined together to mimic lace. The yarn is Artyarns Regal Silk. The silk is super drapy- very sultry silhouette. The buttons are pearls. I used ribbon to reinforce them and I'm really happy that its pretty hidden. The back though, is my favorite. I really like the diamond pattern that is emerging.
