TNNA - Oh my- totally cool
I just got back from the TNNA show in Indy.
It is probably one of the coolest things I have been to this year. Just imagine, every person, yarn, craft, supply, mag, or book related to crochet all in one place; and to top it off everyone is SO nice! Incredible!
It was so cool. I don't know where to begin. So instead, here are some of my highlights.
1. People.
I met the nicest people. Like, Kim from CrochetMe (who is just as sparkling as you would imagine in person.) Cecily from Such Sweet Hands (who is so talented and so nice- she helped show me the ropes of navigating the marketplace). Amy and Johanna from The hook and I (buddies from the book signing lines) . Shannon from Knitgrrl. Andi from Knit Brit (my fiber friend from england- we rocked the stash enhancements!). Vickie Howell from the Knitty Gritty (who was so nice to meet in person- esp b/c she likes my tunic i made for her book). Amy from Indigirl. Trisha from Interweave (who is also a Cincy girl like me). Stefanie from Glampyre (who hands down had the best knitted outfit I have ever seen on- hopefully she will share her secrets). And that's just the beginning! I met publishers, other designers, yarn company owners, yarn store owners, who all are SO nice. What a great group!
All free - All fabulous
3. Yarn
I saw camel, buffalo, alpaca, angora- (on the animal side). Linen, cornsilk, bamboo- (on the plant side). So many soft and crisp yarns- that I can't keep my head straight. Thank goodness for notes!
4. Indy
What a cute city! Who knew a skywalk could be so nice!
There was so much more, but I am so spent. It kinda feels like it was all a great dream. I'll keep updating, when my brain returns and I can think clearly again.

Hi Robyn! It was so fantastic to finally meet you. I wish there'd been time to hang out in a ... calmer setting. :) Maybe in San Diego in January?
